The Mediterranean Sea is 45 minutes drive from Alma Toscana.

Go to Viareggio, Forte Di Marmi, and the sandy beaches of Versilia.

If you prefer rocky coastlines, go southwest beyond Livorno or northwest from La Spezia to the 5 Terre. (Preferably in low season....)
